YOU ARE INVITED ON THIS ONCE IN A LIFETIME JOURNEY!

2018 survivor dinner

2018 survivor dinner

Cycle off the beaten track as we blaze a trail from the glories of Angkor Wot to some of the lesser known and visited Khmer wonders. Spend time with trafficking before making our way slowly to the coastal southern reaches to take in all the highlights and hidden attractions.

Whether cycling along jungle tracks, up the holy mountain, by beaches and rivers, you will experience a side of Cambodia seen by few others.

Along the way you will have the chance to meet with survivors, understand their struggles and vision for the future, knowing that the money you raise will directly support them.

Specially designed for students (recommended years 9-11) and a parent or guardian, this challenge has been running since 2012 with schools including Loreto Normanhurst, Loreto Kirribili and St Joseph’s College in Sydney.

These adventures have raised more than $400,000 to help PROJECT FUTURES transform the lives of women and children affected by human trafficking, slavery and sexual exploitation in Cambodia.

COST: $2,500 per person (land only)

DON'T JUST TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT!

"Cambodia is a beautiful country, filled with beautiful people who have suffered enormously. It has been fantastic to be able to travel through Cambodia, learning of this history and people, knowing that in a very small way we have helped some of the most vulnerable.

As much as we have been able to help, we too have also received so much in perspective about ourselves and our own lives. I am grateful for the physical and emotional challenge, and the opportunity to share this with my daughter.

It has been an amazing journey and I would highly recommend it to all".

"If you are looking for an incredible, eye-opening and extremely rewarding trip, the PROJECT FUTURES Cycle Challenge in Cambodia is truly the most suitable. From roughing it out and cycling through mud, rain, dust and extreme heat to tasting the local food and meeting the girls at AFESIP, you get an amazing experience of the country and culture".

Ana Lever, Student

The Cambodian Cycle Challenge has been the best experience of my life! Sharing this beautiful country with my daughter, whilst being around the most hospitable people, has been awesome.

Words can not describe how I felt when we visited AFESIP.... we got to see first hand where all our fundraising was going. We got to learn of the terror of these girls history and the light that the AFESIP service had offered. I feel privileged to be part of this process in some small, positive way.

Considering Cambodia's history, it truly is a nation of happy, smiling people. Gorgeous scenery, warm weather around the clock and delicious healthy food.... this was all a bonus and added to the experience of the cycle.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of this process so intimately".
