Experience the raw, untamed beauty of Cambodia with PROJECT FUTURES and Elevation Fitness.

Cycle off the beaten track as we blaze a trail to the glories of Angkor Wat from some of the lesser known parts of the country and visit Khmer wonders along the way. Spend time with survivors before making our way slowly to the coastal southern reaches to take in all the highlights and hidden attractions.

You will pedal alongside the Mekong River to the capital city, Phnom Penh to meet our Impact Partner, AFESIP Cambodia.

Whether cycling along jungle tracks, up a holy mountain, by beaches and rivers, you will experience a side of Cambodia seen by few others.

Along the way you will have the chance to meet with survivors, understand their struggles and vision for the future, knowing that the money you raise will directly support them.

This trip, is in collaboration with Elevation Complete Health and Fitness Centre for their members and friends within the Gold Coast community.

These adventures have raised more than $500,000 to help PROJECT FUTURES transform the lives of women and children affected by human trafficking, slavery and sexual exploitation in Cambodia.

WHY DID ELEVATION FITNESS CHOOSE TO COMMIT TO THE CYCLE?

'We are afforded the luxury of living a life that feels very removed from the shocking reality of human trafficking and sex trade, but the very knowledge that this exists, makes it impossible to ignore.

If fate had dealt a different hand any one of us could have been born in to that world, and I feel a very strong desire to give women and girls suffering from exploitation the means to make a change, to break the cycle and create a life she longs for.

Increasing awareness of human trafficking and sex trade is also vitally important. Through our partnership with Project Futures we are able to help make these hopes a reality.’

DON'T JUST TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT!

"Cambodia is a beautiful country, filled with beautiful people who have suffered enormously. It has been fantastic to be able to travel through Cambodia, learning of this history and people, knowing that in a very small way we have helped some of the most vulnerable.

As much as we have been able to help, we too have also received so much in perspective about ourselves and our own lives. I am grateful for the physical and emotional challenge, and the opportunity to share this with my daughter.

It has been an amazing journey and I would highly recommend it to all".

The Cambodian Cycle Challenge has been the best experience of my life! Sharing this beautiful country with my daughter, whilst being around the most hospitable people, has been awesome.

Words can not describe how I felt when we visited AFESIP.... we got to see first hand where all our fundraising was going. We got to learn of the terror of these girls history and the light that the AFESIP service had offered. I feel privileged to be part of this process in some small, positive way.

Considering Cambodia's history, it truly is a nation of happy, smiling people. Gorgeous scenery, warm weather around the clock and delicious healthy food.... this was all a bonus and added to the experience of the cycle.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of this process so intimately".
